This is the "Devil's Stone in Santa Sabina. It is said that the devil threw this stone at St. Dominic while he was preaching. The devil does not have good aim as Saint Dominic and the Order have prospered.

This carving is similar to the Bocca de Verita, but this one at Santa Sabina is being used in a much more authentic manner. And here is another ancient bath tub that has found a modern use!

This is the Piazza de Peter d' Illiria, the 5^th Century priest that built Santa Sabina. It was ours, but now it belongs to and is maintained by the Roman Government.
