April 27th!!!

Page #1 of 5!

Today highlight was visiting the Palatine Forum, located just behind the Roman Forum. I might have skipped the Palatine Forum because they charge an admission fee of € 8.00. However, at lunch just before I went over to the Forum, Fr. Robert Christian told me not to skip the Palatine Forum. He said that the admission fee was worth it. I glad I went. I may not have understood what I was looking at, but to imagine what it must have been like in its days of Imperial splendor was quite something.

On the evening of April 26th, Fr. Luke, Br. Saul, and I walked to the Trevi Fountain. The sight is nothing short of magnificent!

Tourists (and locals) abound at all hours of the day and night. I think this photo was taken around 11 PM!

This is the tomb of St. Ignatius of Loyola, the founders of the Jesuits. It is in the Church of the Gesu.

Which way do I go now???

A touristy shot in a coffee bar!

This is another shot of the Temple of Antonia.

This is the Arch of Constantine.

This carving on the Arch of Constantine depicts the sack of Jerusalem and the carrying away on the great Golden Candelabra from the Temple in Jerusalem.
